Welcome to Friends4Troops.org, Please feel free to browse around.

Mission Statement: Friends For Troops is an organization that sends care packages overseas to our military to make a duty tour less painful and to help fill the gap between a duty station and home. Friends For Troops boots morale, selflessness, and community and nation togetherness by giving a diverse group of neighbors and neighborhoods at least one common goal, supporting our troops.

Friends For Troops is an organization that sends large care packages, 25 to 50 pounds, to our men and women fighting for our freedom and the freedom of others across the Atlantic is hostile territories. We know that not everyone can afford to send such a large care package and that some people do not have family back here in the states so we do our best to fill the gap between their duty station and home.

CARE PACKAGES, LETTERS, & INFORMATION!!!

In our care packages, we items such as: soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and other basic sanitary needs. Also, we like to throw in a little holiday flare when the time comes. The letters that we send can be something as meaningless as what you bought at the grocery store, to something as large as telling someone that the love of your life proposed to you. It doesn't really matter what is in the letters, as long as you give them a little piece of home. The projected ratio for 2009 is 1 armed forces member to 218 (as of November 2008) civilians in the US, imagine those numbers now! If you are to donate to a care package, we will GLADLY make sure you get due credit.

DONATIONS!!!

We work STRICTLY off of donations of people in our community and out of our own pocket. We make ZERO profit off of what we do here at Friends For Troops. The only reward we receive is an occasional letter from someone receiving a care package, and knowing that we brightened the day of an Armed Forces member serving our great country. Some people who have donated to us have been...
-Best Western Hotels
-Sun N Sands Motel
-Starbucks Coffee
-Dr's Beyer and Queen DDS
-Samantha Clark (Army girlfriend)
-Mrs. Flores' Fourth Grade Class (Star View)
-Marine View Middle School, Sixth Grade
just to name a few.

We hope to add your name to our ever growing list of donors!
